Overview
Assign each member an hourly rate so that time logs automatically calculate cost against your project budget.
Steps
In the Members tab, locate the Hourly Rate column.
Click into the field next to a member’s name and enter their rate (e.g., 50 for $50/hr).
Click or tab away—the rate saves immediately.
Tips & Best Practices
Use whole numbers (no commas) and the project’s default currency.
Update rates at contract renewal or role change to keep billing accurate.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Rate resets to 0: Check you have “Edit Project Members” permission and your browser isn’t stripping formatting.
Wrong currency applied: Rates inherit the project currency—verify under Project Settings.
