Overview
Add a milestone any time you need to mark a major stage or payment trigger in your project.
Steps
Open your project and click the Milestones tab.
Click + Create Milestone.
In the Create Milestone modal:
Milestone Title *: Enter a descriptive name (e.g. “Phase 1 Delivery”).
Milestone Cost: Enter the cost or budget tied to this milestone (e.g. 1000).
Status: Choose Incomplete, In Progress, or Complete.
Add Cost To Project Budget: Select Yes to roll this cost into the overall project budget.
Milestone Summary *: Provide a brief description of deliverables.
Start Date / End Date: Pick the planned dates.
Click Save. The new milestone appears in your list.
Tips & Best Practices
Make titles concise but meaningful (“Design Sign‑Off” vs. “Stage 2”).
Use Add Cost To Project Budget only for billable milestones.
Always set both dates if you have hard deadlines—leave End Date blank only for open‑ended phases.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Save button disabled: Ensure all * fields (Title and Summary) are filled.
Cost not rolling up: Confirm you selected Yes for “Add Cost To Project Budget.”
Dates not accepted: Check your browser’s date format (YYYY‑MM‑DD).
