Overview
When you have a task template or recurring work item, use the Duplicate action to clone all its details in one click.
Steps
In Work → Tasks (List view), find the task you want to copy.
Click the Action (⋮) → Duplicate.
A new task form appears pre‑filled with the original task’s Title, Project, Dates, Category, Priority, and Description.
Adjust any fields (e.g. new due date) as needed.
Click Save to create the cloned task.
Tips & Best Practices
Rename the title (e.g. append “– Copy” or a date) to distinguish duplicates.
Use for one‑off templates (e.g. “Weekly report”) to avoid manual re‑entry.
After saving, pin or assign the duplicate immediately if it’s high‑priority.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Duplicate option missing: Ensure you have “Duplicate Tasks” permission in your role.
Form not pre‑filled: The original task may lack certain fields; fill them in the source first.
Duplicate stuck in wrong project: Change the Project field in the duplicate form before saving.
