Overview
Define exactly which statuses your projects can have (e.g. “In Progress,” “On Hold,” “Finished”) and set the default.

Steps to Manage Statuses
Add a New Status
Click Add Status.
Enter a name and pick a color.
Save.
Edit an Existing Status
Click Edit next to the status.
Update name or color.
Save.
Delete a Status
Click Delete next to any non‑default status.
Confirm deletion.
Change the Default
Select the radio button in the Default column.
That status becomes the starting status for all new projects.
Best Practices
Keep your status list short and meaningful.
Reserve “Finished” or “Canceled” for truly closed projects.
