If you need leaves to accrue gradually or carry unused days into the next period, set up accrual and carryover policies here.

HR › Settings › Leaves Settings › Leaves General Settings
Steps to Enable Accrual
Under Count leaves from…, choose From date of joining (for per‑employee anniversaries).
Select Reporting Manager can approval level.
Scroll to the Accrual & Carryover section (if available):
Define Accrual Frequency (Monthly, Quarterly).
Set Carryover Limit (max days that roll over).
Click Save.
Notes
Accruals credit the employee’s balance each period automatically.
Carryover applies only at year‑end (or anniversary) and respects the limit you set.
