Overview
When a lead goes cold or isn’t a fit, you can mark it as Disqualified and capture the reason—ensuring your pipeline stays clean and your team learns from every outcome.
Steps
Go to Leads → Lead Contact and locate the lead.
Open the lead’s detail view and click the Status dropdown.
Select Disqualified.
In the prompt, choose or enter a Lost Reason (e.g. Budget, Timing, No Fit).
Click Save. The status and reason are logged in the lead’s history.
Tips
Standardize your lost‑reason list so you can report on why leads drop off.
Encourage reps to add a brief note elaborating on the reason for future training.
Use a filter for Disqualified + specific reasons to identify process improvements.
