Overview
Subtract points or auto‑exclude leads that display disqualifying signals—like bounced emails, unsubscribes, or job titles outside your target.
Procedure
Under Lead Scoring, click Add Scoring Rule.
Select Negative Scoring or Exclusion.
Define disqualifying criteria:
Email Bounce → −50 points
Job Title = “Student” → Exclude Lead
Unsubscribed from Campaign → Exclude Lead
Assign negative point values or mark as Excluded.
Save.
Tips
Use negative scoring sparingly; reserve exclusion for truly unqualified leads.
Monitor the Excluded list weekly to ensure no valuable segments are accidentally kicked out.
Log negative‑score events in lead notes for auditability and coach your team on root causes.
