Overview
Enhance your nurturing by automatically creating follow‑up tasks for your sales team at key workflow stages (e.g. after 3 unopened emails).
Steps
In your workflow editor, click + and choose Create Task under the Actions list.
Configure the task:
Title (e.g. “Call Lead if No Email Open”)
Assigned To: pick a user or round‑robin team
Due Date: relative (e.g. 1 day after the trigger)
To add reminders, click + and pick Send Internal Notification, then select the same user/team.
Link your task action to a trigger—like “Email unopened after 72 hours.”
Save and test by pushing a lead into that path.
Tips
Use reminders sparingly—too many tasks can overwhelm reps.
Include clear instructions in the task description.
Monitor task completion rates in your Tasks dashboard.
