Overview
Assign a probability percentage to each stage so your revenue forecasts automatically calculate weighted deal values.
Steps
In Leads → Pipelines & Stages, click Edit on the pipeline you want to adjust.
For each stage row, enter a Probability (e.g. 25% for “Contacted,” 75% for “Proposal Sent”).
Click Save.
Go to Reports → Pipeline Forecast to see your weighted projections based on those probabilities.
Tips
Calibrate probabilities using historical close rates rather than guesswork.
Use clear increments (e.g. 10–20%) for stage probabilities.
Review and adjust quarterly as win/loss data evolves.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Forecast still shows 0%: Confirm you’ve set probabilities for all stages, including “Closed Won.”
Weighted values seem off: Check that each deal’s stage matches one of your defined pipeline stages.
Cannot edit probabilities: Verify you have “Edit Pipeline” rights and that the pipeline isn’t archived.
