Overview
Sometimes your lead/deal dashboards (counts, charts) don’t match what you see in the list view—often due to filters, date ranges, or user scopes.
Procedure
Note the dashboard widget filters (e.g. Date Range: “This Month,” Status: “Open”).
In Leads → Lead Contact or Leads → Deals, replicate those same filters at the top of the table.
If you have user‑scoped dashboards, confirm your role’s data scope under Settings → Roles & Permissions.
Compare the filtered table count to the dashboard number.
Adjust your dashboard or table filters until they match; save the corrected dashboard view if possible.
Tips
Bookmark your correctly filtered list views for quick reference.
Use the same date‑field (Created vs. Last Activity) in both widgets and table filters.
Document any differences in your internal FAQ so your team can self‑serve.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Dashboard still off by one or two: Check for hidden statuses (e.g. “Archived” or “Draft”) that might be excluded from the table.
Cannot find filter to match dashboard: Reach out to an Admin—some dashboard filters (like “XXX by Territory”) may not be exposed in the list UI.
Filters reset on reload: Use saved views if your UI supports it, or clear your browser cookies for a clean state.
