Step‑by‑Step Instructions
Enable Timelogs in Payroll
On Generate Payroll, check Add timelogs to salary.
Confirm Time Logs
Navigate to HR → Attendance → Time Log Settings (or Work → Time Logs) to ensure logs exist for the period.
Generate Payroll
Click Generate. Laywork calculates Time Logs (Total Hours × Hourly Rate) as part of Earnings.
View Payslip
In the payslip Earnings section, see “Time Logs (Total Hours X )” and the computed amount.
Tips
Define each employee’s hourly rate in their HR → Employees → Edit profile.
Encourage staff to submit and approve time logs before payroll day.
Use Settings → Time Log Settings to enforce minimum log requirements.
