How to Set Up Salary TDS Brackets

Salary TDS (tax deducted at source) brackets automate withholding based on annual income bands.

Step‑by‑Step Instructions

1. Open Settings → Payroll Settings → Salary TDS.

2. Click + Add New Salary TDS.

3. Specify:

   • Annual Salary From and Upto.

   • Salary Percent (TDS rate).

4. Save.

5. Repeat for each taxable band (e.g. 0–250,000 @ 0%; 250,001–500,000 @ 5%).

Tips

• Order brackets from lowest to highest.

• Double‑check local tax law rates each financial year.

• Use the TDS Status button to toggle all brackets on/off during testing.
