Configure Client Sign‑Up Settings

Overview:
Allow external clients to self‑register for your Laywork portal and define your approval workflow.

On this page:

• Allow Client Signup checkbox

• Need admin approval after client signup checkbox

• Client Signup URL (with Copy button)

• Save button

Steps:

1. Go to App Settings → Client Sign Up Settings.

2. Check Allow Client Signup to enable public registration.

3. (Optional) Check Need admin approval to require manual review of new sign‑ups.

4. Copy the Client Signup URL and share it on your website or in emails.

5. Click Save.

Tips & Best Practices:

• Post the signup link behind a “Register” button on your marketing site.

• Monitor Clients → Pending for new registrations if approval is enabled.

Troubleshooting / FAQs:

• Signup link returns 404?
  Confirm you copied the full URL, including the unique token.

• Clients cannot sign up even with checkbox on?
  Make sure the feature flag is enabled in your company licensing settings.
