Overview
If an employee leaves or you need to clear their salary setup, you can remove their profile and all associated salary entries.
Step‑by‑Step Instructions
Navigate to HR → Payroll → Employee Salary.
Find the employee’s row and click the ⋮ Action menu.
Choose Delete Salary (or Reset Profile).
Confirm the prompt: this will delete their salary components and history, returning their Net Salary to “––”.

Tips
Use this when an employee is terminated or you want to start over with a fresh salary structure.
After deletion, verify in View Salary History that no entries remain.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
“Delete Salary” option is disabled
Check that you have the right permissions under Settings → Roles & Permissions → Payroll.
Salary still appears after deletion
Refresh the page or clear browser cache—sometimes the data grid needs a full reload.
