Overview
Employees can log extra hours worked by creating an Overtime Request. Once submitted, managers can review and approve or reject it.
Step‑by‑Step Instructions
Navigate to Payroll → Overtime Request.
Click Add Request.
In the modal:
Select the Employee (yourself or on behalf of someone, if permitted).
Choose the Date of the overtime.
Enter the Duration in hours and minutes.
Provide a Reason (e.g. “Project deadline”).
Click Add to log multiple dates in the same request, if needed.
Click Save to submit for manager approval.
Tips
Use the Designation / Department / Month filters at the top to zero in on past requests.
If you frequently work overtime, consider batching multiple days into one request.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
“Save” button is disabled
Ensure all required fields (Employee, Date, Duration, Reason) are filled.
I don’t see my manager’s approval status
After submission, the request may take a few minutes to appear; refresh the page or check back later.
