Overview
After turning on Slack notifications, it’s smart to send yourself a test alert to confirm everything’s set up correctly.
Steps
In Settings > Notification Settings, open the Slack tab.
Enable at least one Slack notification type (e.g. “New Support Ticket Request”).
Click Send Test Notification at the bottom of the screen.
Check the Slack channel you’ve connected to Laywork—you should see a test message arrive within seconds.
Tips
If nothing appears in Slack, double-check that your Slack workspace is still connected under Settings > App Settings.
You can repeat this test as often as you like until you’re confident alerts are flowing.
