Use the Employee TDS Report to drill down into each employee’s monthly tax deductions—ideal for answering payroll queries or preparing individual Form 16.
Step-by-Step
Go to Payroll → Reports
Switch to the “Employee Tds Report” tab
Filter by Employee
Start typing the employee’s name in the search box
Review Monthly Deduction
The table shows each month’s TDS amount for the selected employee
Download
Click the download icon in the table header to export
Tips
Use this when employees request year-to-date tax certificates.
Cross-verify with payroll export to ensure consistency.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Employee not listed.
Make sure the employee has at least one payroll run with TDS applied.
TDS column shows “-”.
Indicates no TDS was deducted that month; verify tax settings.
Download icon missing.
Check that you have “Export Payroll Reports” permission under your role.
