Overview
Generate a standard invoice to bill your client for products or services rendered.
Steps
Go to Finance > Invoices and click Create Invoice.
Enter required header fields:
Invoice Number (auto-generated or custom)
Invoice Date and Due Date
Currency and Exchange Rate (if multi-currency)
Select a Client, optional Project, and Bank Account.
(Optional) Add a Shipping Address.
Under Items, choose an existing Product or enter a custom Description, Quantity, Unit Price, and Tax. Click Add Item for multiple lines.
Review Sub Total, apply any Discount, and confirm Total.
(Optional) Attach supporting files via Choose a file.
Add a Note for the recipient and confirm Terms and Conditions.
Click Save to create the invoice in Draft status.
Tips
Use the Add Item button to quickly bill multiple line items.
If you need to collect payments online, configure payment gateways first (see Article 7).
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: My “Save” button is disabled.
A: Ensure all required fields (marked *) are filled.
Q: I can’t select a client.
A: Verify the client is active under Clients; click Add next to Client field if needed.
