Overview
Keep your financials organized by storing all your bank and cash accounts in Laywork. This article shows you how to add a new account.
Steps
Go to Finance → Bank Account.
Click Add Bank Account.
Select Type (Bank or Cash).
Enter Bank Name, Account Holder, Account Number, Contact Number.
Choose Account Type (Saving/Checking) and Currency.
Enter Opening Balance and set Status (Active/Inactive).
(Optional) Upload a Bank Logo.
Click Save.
Tips
Use the Currency dropdown to match your local currency.
Mark inactive accounts to archive old or closed accounts without deleting data.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: “Save” button is greyed out.
A: Ensure all required fields (marked *) are filled.
Q: I uploaded a logo but it doesn’t appear.
A: Check file size/type (PNG/JPEG, <2 MB). Refresh the page.
