Overview
Issue a credit note to adjust or refund an existing invoice.
Steps
Navigate to Finance → Credit Note.
Click Add Credit Note.
Select the Client and related Invoice.
Enter Credit Amount, Reason, and Date.
(Optional) Attach supporting documents.
Click Save.
Tips
Use descriptive reasons (“Product return,” “Overcharge adjustment”).
Attach documentation (email, return slip) for audit trail.

Q: Invoice not showing in dropdown.
A: Ensure invoice is unpaid or partially paid. Only those can be credited.
