Solutions to the most frequent problems when creating or managing estimates and templates.
Estimate number conflicts (“already exists”)
→ Adjust prefix under Settings > Prefix Settings or reset numbering.
Template line-items not loading
→ Verify template currency matches estimate currency.
Client never receives estimate email
→ Check SMTP/email gateway settings; ask client to check spam folder.
Cannot delete a template
→ Ensure no active estimates are using that template; cancel or reassign them first.
Estimate Request stuck on “Pending”
→ Confirm the request has a valid client email before sending.
Tips
Always test a full create-send-accept-invoice flow in a sandbox before going live.
Keep your tax and discount rules consistent under Settings > Tax Settings.
