Setting Default Proposal Prefix and Numbering

Overview
Learn how to manage your proposal numbering sequence so each new proposal follows your desired prefix and digit format.

Steps

1. Go to Finance → Finance Settings → Prefix Settings.

2. Locate Proposal Prefix.

3. Enter the desired prefix (e.g. PRP).

4. Choose a Separator (e.g. -) and number of Digits.

5. Click Save.

Tips

• Changing the prefix does not retroactively rename existing proposals.

• Use meaningful prefixes per department (e.g. MKT-001).

Troubleshooting / FAQs

• Q: New proposals still use the old prefix.

  • A: Refresh the page or log out/in to apply changes.
