How to Create a Recurring Expense

Overview
Automate repeated costs—rent, subscriptions, or utility bills—so Laywork generates them on schedule without manual entry.

Steps

  1. Go to Finance → Expenses and click Recurring Expenses.

  2. Select the Recurring Expenses tab, then click + Add Recurring Expense.

  3. Complete the form:

  4. Under Billing Frequency, choose Daily/Weekly/Monthly/etc.

  5. Set Start Date (or check Immediate start).

  6. Enter Total Count (number of cycles; –1 for infinite).

  7. Click Save.
