How to Include Multiple Tax Rates on One Invoice

Overview
Apply different tax rates to different line-items on the same invoice (e.g. VAT + service tax).

Steps

1. When adding items, in the Tax dropdown pick the appropriate rate per row.

2. Repeat for each line-item.

3. The Tax summary section shows each rate and amount separately.

Tips

• Label your line-items clearly so clients understand why different rates apply.

• Use “Calculate Tax” set to After Discount if you want discounts applied before splitting across rates.

• Q: Only one rate appears in the dropdown.

  • A: Add additional rates under Settings > Tax Settings first.
