Overview:
Sometimes you need to log a lead on the fly—this guide shows you how to create a lead record directly in Laywork.
Steps:
Go to Leads & Deals → Leads.
Click + New Lead in the top‑right corner.
Fill in the required fields (Name, Email, Company, Source).
Optionally assign an Owner and add Tags.
Click Save to create the lead.
Tips & Best Practices:
Always include the lead source (e.g., “Trade Show,” “Referral”) for reporting.
Assign an owner immediately so follow‑up doesn’t slip through the cracks.
Troubleshooting / FAQs:
“Save” button is disabled: Make sure all required fields (marked with *) are filled.
Can’t see “+ New Lead”? Check your role permissions under Settings → Roles & Permissions.
