Overview
The Income Vs Expense report overlays your total billings against your total expenditures over time, helping you monitor net cash flow.
Steps
Navigate to Reports > Income Vs Expense.
Set Duration (e.g. 01-04-2025 to 27-04-2025).
View the two key cards: Total Earnings and Total Expenses.
Examine the bar chart: blue bars = income, red bars = expense per date.
(Optional) Export data via the Export button.
Tips
Compare similar periods (e.g. month-over-month) to spot seasonality.
Drill down: filter by Project or Category for detailed analysis.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: Expense bars appear but income is zero.
A: Confirm you have recorded invoice payments in the date range.
Q: Exported CSV only shows expenses.
A: Make sure “Income” checkboxes are included in your filter settings.
