Overview
Modify the items, amounts, or frequency on a saved recurring invoice template for all future cycles.
Steps
Go to Finance > Invoices > Recurring Invoice.
Click the “⋮” menu next to the template and choose Edit.
Update any header fields (Client, Currency, Tax), billing frequency, Total Count, or line-items.
Click Save. All upcoming invoices inherit your changes; past invoices remain unchanged.
Tips
If you only need to change the next cycle, consider duplicating the template and adjusting the duplicate.
Notify the client of any pricing changes in advance.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: Frequency dropdown is disabled.
A: You cannot change frequency after at least one invoice has been generated; create a new recurring schedule instead.
Q: Line-items revert after saving.
A: Make sure to click Add Item after editing each row before saving.
