How to Charge Setup Fees on First Recurring Invoice

Overview
Add a one-time setup or onboarding fee that appears only on the first recurring invoice.

Steps

  1. In Finance > Invoices > Recurring Invoice, click Edit on your plan.

  2. Under line-items, add your setup fee as an item.

  3. Set its Quantity to 1 and Unit Price to the fee amount.

  4. In Total Count, enter 1 for that line-item if the UI supports per-item cycles; otherwise:

  5. Save.
