Overview
Ticket Types categorize why tickets were opened (Bug, Feature Request, Question, etc.). You can add custom types or remove unused ones.
Steps
Under Ticket Settings, select the Ticket Types tab.
Click Add New Ticket Type.
Enter the Type Name and click Save.
To edit a type, click Edit, change the name, and Save.
To delete, click Delete next to a type.
Tips
Limit to 5–8 types for simplicity.
Use types to trigger different workflows or SLAs.
Troubleshooting
Default types can’t be deleted? System‑provided types (e.g. Bug) are protected.
New type not visible on form? Ensure it is toggled on in Ticket Form settings.
