Overview
Mark an asset as returned to update its status and log the transaction.
Steps
Open the asset’s View (it will show as “Lent”).
Click the three‑dot menu and choose Return (appears only when status = Lent).
Confirm return date and condition notes if prompted.
Asset status reverts to “Available.”
Tips
Inspect condition on return; record damage in Notes.
Attach a photo of any damage via the Files tab.
Troubleshooting
“Return” option missing? Ensure you’re viewing a currently lent asset.
Status remains “Lent”? Refresh the page or check user permissions for asset returns.
