Steps:
Go to Leads & Deals → Leads and open the lead record.
Click the Convert dropdown and select Convert to Deal.
In the modal, select the Deal Pipeline and initial Deal Stage.
Edit or confirm the Deal Name, Close Date, and Deal Value.
Click Convert; you’ll be taken to the newly created deal page.

Double‑check the deal value to match the lead’s expected purchase size.
Add a note in the deal activity log summarizing why you converted.
Immediately schedule the next task (e.g., call, demo) on the deal timeline.
