Controlling Email Notifications to Candidates

Overview
Automatically notify applicants at key stages (applied, shortlisted, etc.) via email.

Steps

1. In Recruit Settings → Notification Settings, tick the stages you want (e.g. Applied, Phone Screen).

2. Under Email Notification Settings, check the events (e.g. New Job Application).

3. Click Save.

Tips

• Only enable “Rejected” notifications if you include constructive feedback.

• Combine notifications with custom email templates for consistency.

Troubleshooting

• Candidates not receiving emails? Ask them to check spam, and confirm your SMTP settings.

• Over‑emailing? Uncheck seldom‑used stages to reduce noise.
