Overview
Collects solutions to frequently encountered issues when generating or managing offer letters.
Issue: “Save & Send” disabled
Cause: Missing candidate email or SMTP misconfiguration
Solution: Add candidate email; check Recruit Settings → Notification.
Issue: Expire date in the past
Cause: Offer “Expire On” date is earlier than today
Solution: Update to a future date and click Save.
Issue: Email bounce-backs
Cause: Invalid email address or email landed in spam folder
Solution: Correct the email address; ask the candidate to whitelist your domain.
Issue: Attachment not included in PDF export
Cause: File uploaded after initial Save, and PDF not re-exported
Solution: Re-edit the offer, remove then re-attach the file, and click Save & Download.
Issue: Offer status cannot be changed
Cause: Missing “Change Status” permission
Solution: Grant the appropriate role under Roles & Permissions → Recruit.

Always test sending one offer to yourself before emailing multiple candidates.
Keep your SMTP logs handy for diagnosing email delivery issues.
