Troubleshooting Candidate Database Issues

Common solutions for problems you might face within the Candidate Database.

Issue: No “Restore Application” button
Cause: Viewing active candidates instead of archived ones
Solution: Toggle Filters to show the “archived” view.

Issue: Search yields no results
Cause: Search term typo or field not indexed
Solution: Try partial matches and remove special characters.

Issue: Filter dropdowns empty
Cause: Underlying data (Skills or Dates) is missing or misconfigured
Solution: Add skills in Recruit → Skills; verify that date formats are correct.

Issue: Export hangs or times out
Cause: Too many records, exceeding the CSV export limit
Solution: Apply tighter filters or export in smaller batches.

Issue: Profile fields not up to date
Cause: Recent changes made in Module Settings
Solution: Refresh the page and verify field mapping in the settings.
