Overview:
Keep all your important documents—contracts, specs, brochures—linked directly to the lead record so your team always has the right files at their fingertips.
Steps:
Go to Leads & Deals → Leads and open the lead you want.
Click the Files tab within the lead’s detail view.
Click Upload File, select one or more files from your computer, and click Open.
(Optional) Add a Description or Tag to each file for easier searching.
To preview or download, hover over the file and click the eye or download icon.
Tips & Best Practices:
Use clear file names (e.g., Acme_Proposal_v2.pdf) so you can find documents quickly.
Organize by file type or stage with tags like “Contract,” “Quote,” or “Specs.”
Remove outdated versions or move them to an archive folder to avoid confusion.
Troubleshooting / FAQs:
Upload fails or times out: Check your internet connection and file size (keep uploads under 50 MB).
Can’t see the Files tab: Ensure the Files module is enabled under Settings → Module Management.
Preview won’t open: Download the file and open it locally; browser preview may not support all file types.
