Overview:
Draft professional proposals, send them directly from Laywork, and monitor views, e‑signatures, and acceptance—all linked to the lead.
Steps:
In the lead record, click Proposals → + New Proposal.
Choose a Template or start from scratch; fill in details (items, pricing, terms).
Click Save Draft to review, then Send to email it to your prospect.
Monitor the Status column (Sent, Viewed, Signed, Accepted) in the Proposals tab.
When the prospect signs or accepts, click Convert to Deal (if not already done).

Use templates for consistency—include your logo, standard terms, and branding.
Enable e‑signature so prospects can sign online, speeding up the deal cycle.
Follow up automatically if a proposal is viewed but not signed within X days via a workflow.
Troubleshooting / FAQs:
Proposal email not delivered: Check your email integration under Settings → Integrations.
Status remains “Sent” after viewing: Some email clients block tracking pixels—confirm receipt via call or follow‑up email.
Cannot convert unsigned proposal: Only proposals with status “Accepted” or “Signed” can be converted automatically.
