Overview:
Tags are flexible labels (e.g., “VIP,” “Onboarding”) you can apply to customers for quick segmentation, filtering, and reporting.
Steps:
Open a customer record in Customer Management → Customers.
Click the Tags field (or + Add Tag) in the profile header.
Type a new tag name or select from existing tags.
Press Enter to apply the tag.
Repeat as needed; up to 10 tags per customer.
Tips & Best Practices:
Standardize tag usage—decide on singular vs. plural (e.g., “VIP” not “VIPs”).
Use tags sparingly; 3–5 per customer keeps things manageable.
Combine tags with groups for layered segmentation (e.g., “Region: APAC” + “VIP”).
Troubleshooting / FAQs:
Tag not appearing in filter lists: Refresh the page; new tags propagate after save.
Can’t remove a tag: Hover over the tag and click the × icon; ensure you have edit rights.
Too many tags on a customer: Consider converting some tags into customer groups for better structure.
